Fractals of the Mists

ArenaNet's Colin Johanson briefly introduced the brand-new dungeon as one that gets more challenging the farther in you go. Conventional wisdom would suggest that that's nearly always the case, but Johanson left out a key detail: In the Fractals of the Mists dungeon, you can go indefinitely farther in.

The never ending dungeon?!?!?!?

Looks like you start off doing "3" dungeons.. once those are complete you get to sell and repair... then get to do more.... At which the mobs will be harder, more difficult content. Sounds pretty awesome!

I am a little concerned about the new Ascended gear that is coming with this patch. I will reserve judgment until I see how it plays out but I hope this is not Arena Net giving into the WoW crowd. The GW1 gear system and the gear system in GW2 so far is just fine for me.

Yea I agree with you. I don't feel like I am racing to get the best gear. If I want really good gear I farm karma or I spend gold for crafted stuff. Like you said we will have to wait and see. Right now it looks as though a ring and back piece are the only ascended pieces to be introduced.
