google daoc quest preemptive strike...cloak reward, for melee has str/con with 10 charges of almost pot quality...35 vs 40 as I recall...think i may stop leveling for a bit 10 str, 10 con, 10 dex, 20 hits with that charge=lvl 49 still viable imho...

Just wanted to make yall aware, definitely a good toy, didn't check caster rewards, but if it's comparable better than just about anything else for anything near that level range, looks like uthgard quest can be run at 27 or 28 minimum.

"Crelam" in Galplen starts the quest apparently; lots of arguments about whether you can get it from 19-25, or after level 27.

I guarantee it's 27 or 28 (I monitor the town crier quite frequently). The caster one appears to have dex/quick, not sure on stats as Zam shows power pool which isn't a stat on uthgard hehe. at 28 I solo'ed this quest in about 30 minutes...final boss conned blue and was actually a pretty rough fight as he has a mean damage shield on him.

Either way, that cloak will probably be in my back pack for the rest of my toons life pending lucky drops at high level.

Side note...uthgard apparently does not have the scaling recharge costs...meaning this toy is a bit more expensive than anticpated lol, 10g per charge on all items no matter the level, least so I've been reading, will test tonight maybe. eh oh well, still fun

Oh, the caster quest reward is fucking GAY. I would have preferred the melee reward ON MY CASTER--here's what I got:

9 pie
28 hits
2 power

+35 dex/quick buff (10m castable) 10 charges.

Think i may keep wearing my blue-con cloak of the nightwalker (6 dex, 4 pie) just for the dex. Already overcapped on pie, with 3 pieces of gear that isn't grey. Summoning SM doesn't need much more than a ppool.

Another side note, get free bubs in jordheim at 30...three quests all contained in town one right next to great hall, one by the stable, and one right by upper forge...1.5g and 3.5 bubs for all three. Bout 15 minutes.
